R. Ateş GÜRŞİMŞEK was born in İzmir (Turkey) in 1982 and had his education, orderly, in Bornova Anatolian High School (BAL), Middle East Technical University (METU) Department of Industrial Design (undergradute) and İstanbul Technical University (İTÜ) Department of Industrial Design (gradute). Having educated for one period in Technische Universiteit Eindhoven (TU/e) as an Exchange student, he is currently enrolled in graduate program in İTÜ and conducting research studies on Meaning and Design, New Media and Product Semantics.
